The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the landscape of the everyday normal we all took for granted, from going to work and visiting friends to eating out and shopping. Your practice has been no exception.
Whether the changes that the COVID-19 outbreak have wrought are permanent or not, they will surely not be fleeting. Operating your financial practice in the wake of COVID-19 will mean re-evaluating every aspect of how you conduct your business, including interacting with your clients, new business development, the employment of new technology tools and managing your employees.
Announcing American Portfolios’ COVID-19 Practice Management Series
To help its advisors navigate these uncertain times, American Portfolios (AP) is introducing a continuing series of practice management articles designed to provide insights and ideas that will help you weather COVID-19-related challenges of the current environment and emerge from them with a stronger practice.
AP won’t pretend to have all the answers or even the best ideas. That’s why all of the firm’s affiliated financial advisors are invited to engage with key personnel by sharing their experiences on addressing these challenges—steps they’ve taken that have worked well and those that haven’t work so well.
With their involvement, the firm will create a valuable forum for advisors to share ideas and insights to supplement what it had developed on its own so that the entire community of advisors can benefit from the collective wisdom and experience of affiliated colleagues and home office staff.
